Established in1996, Kono Kogs, Inc. is a privately owned company recognized as the world’s leading supplier of preowned thermal oxidizer systems. Our company’s mission is to make air pollution control more affordable by offering quality, refurbished thermal, catalytic, and regenerative thermal oxidizers to our clients to meet their stringent air permit regulations.

We are looking to add a 1stshift Welder/Fabricator to our team! We provide a casual and flexible working environment and a great opportunity to get on board with a growing company.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication.
• Grinding, cleaning, and other metal preparation.
• Some general labor and assembly work depending on workload.
• Overhead crane operation and rigging.
• Forklift, man lift, etc. operation.
• Read and follow blueprints with some assistance from Senior Fabricators/Leadman.
• Provide suggestions for improved design when necessary.
• Keep work area, tools, and materials organized and in clean working order.
• Drive company vehicles/trailers and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Follow all safety rules and attend Safety trainings when at work.
• Additional jobs assigned by manager as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• Degree in Welding/Fabricating preferred but not required
• General mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Willingness to learn various other skillsets as required
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
• Good verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass drug screening
