NMC is looking for a Quoting Analyst responsible for providing assigned sales teams, service personnel & customers accurate and complete equipment quotes. You will create quotes to provide internal and external customers with pricing and availability in a timely manner.

We’re looking for someone who excels at customer service, has strong communication skills and enjoys working in a fast-paced sales environment. Attention to detail is a must! The ideal applicant will have career interest in progressing to a CAT Sales Rep position and sell the number one brand in the heavy equipment industry.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

• Determine acceptable margins for new bids, quotes and proposals, working with Product Management and Sales Management to obtain profitable business.
• Process incoming requests for quotations from assigned sales teams and prioritizes based on timelines, needs and customer.
• Compute quotation estimates using a variety of criteria, such as inventory availability, competitive position, price validity, and other logistical considerations.
• Enter quotations directly into NMCPRO for the most efficient win/loss recording and so that quotes may be leveraged directly to perform work.
• Quote prices, credit terms and other bid specification, and keeps abreast of changes, special marketing programs and warranty cost.
• Produce competitive, sought-after quotations and to assist teams with providing great customer service.
• Issue routine quoting analysis detailing quotes issued, pending quotes, win/loss percentages and performance of work performed based on quotes.
• Coordinate the customer involvement of other company personnel when needed, including support resources, team members, and management.
• Inform customers of estimated delivery schedules, service contracts, warranties, or other information pertaining to purchased products.
