Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic / Service Technician to diagnose and repair equipment ensuring minimal downtime for customers. Our client specializes in agricultural equipment.

Hours: 8a-5p
Pay : $20-35+ DOE

Position Overview:
As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of agricultural equipment, including gas and diesel engines, as well as hydraulic systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, possess their own tools, and be ready to tackle a wide range of repair tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair a variety of gas and diesel engines, as well as hydraulic systems on agricultural equipment.
• Perform field service repairs at customer locations using a company-provided truck.
• Utilize mechanical skills to troubleshoot equipment issues and complete repairs efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with customers and provide high-quality service to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used.
• Follow company safety protocols and ensure a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a mechanic on heavy equipment, preferably with agricultural equipment.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing gas and diesel engines, as well as hydraulics.
• Must have own tools for the job.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently in the field and adapt to various work conditions.
