Are you a driven hospitality sales professional ready to take the next step in your career? The Candlewood Suites Eagan Airport South – Mall Area by IHG is seeking an Extended Stay Director of Sales to help lead our busy hotel to new heights.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
• Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue and occupancy goals
• Building strong relationships across extended stay, corporate, and group segments
• Fostering an “everybody sells” culture among our team
• Generating both new and repeat business through proactive outreach and community engagement
Who You Are:
• A motivated sales leader with 2+ years of hotel sales experience (extended stay experience a plus)
• A strategic thinker and natural problem-solver
• A collaborative team player who inspires others to succeed

• Implement a strategic plan that aligns with revenue management and hotel objectives to assist the sales staff in meeting and exceeding room booking goals
• Coordination with the management team and department heads in designing and implementing sales strategies to achieve high occupancy and profitability
• Analyze market data and use it to develop methods for meeting financial targets, designing marketing plan deliverables, and developing an annual sales forecast
• Deliver previous and upcoming week's sales activity reports, as well as monthly sales expense reports, and meet with department managers to keep them up to date on all hotel sales-related expenses
• Boost revenue and increase new guest visits through strategic outbound sales efforts that may include phone solicitation to local professionals, corporations, and members of your personal network
Qualifications:
• Exemplary communication skills, leadership skills, and analytical skills
• Displays a proven track record of sales success by lead-generation and closing
• Knowledge of computer-based software such as Microsoft Word and Excel
• Prior experience in the hospitality field is a plus
