Job Description: seeking a temporary Data Scientist to support the Business Marketing Group's Scaled Business Marketing team, focusing on MarTech, SMB marketing, and business education. The role requires strong SQL and scripting skills (Python/R) to conduct exploratory data analysis, interpret experiment results, and identify opportunities for increased impact.


Key responsibilities include partnering with marketing teams, building analyses and models, managing requests independently, and communicating findings to stakeholders. Candidates should have at least 7 years of analytics experience, strong business insight, and the ability to translate requirements into actionable analysis and tools.


Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree and extensive experience with statistical modeling and experimentation.


Qualification: The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS in Engineering, Statistics, Math, Business, or a related field, with at least seven years of experience in analytics and four years of hands-on SQL expertise.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proven track record of deriving actionable business insights from data are essential, along with the capacity to communicate complex data issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
The role requires experience in translating high-level requirements into meaningful analyses, visualizations, and tools, as well as adaptability in learning new skills and managing multiple projects in a cross-functional environment with high attention to detail.


Preferred qualifications include an MBA or graduate degree in a quantitative field and at least five years of statistical experience, such as building attribution models, conducting A/B tests, or performing lift analysis.


seeking a temporary worker to support our Business Marketing Group (BMG) Scaled Business Marketing (SBM) team, working within BMG Data Science. The SBM team manages BMG's MarTech stack, marketing to small and medium businesses, new business experiences, business education and more. A successful candidate will have strong SQL and scripting skills (Python and/or R). These strong technical skills will be used to run exploratory data analysis, understand results from experiments, forecast, and understand correlations leading to testing new opportunities for increasing impact. The role will work within the BMG Data Science team and will be based in the US.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with the Scaled Business Marketing team to support their goal of increasing revenue by promoting advertiser best practice adoption.
Gather requirements and business context for building out new analysis and models to guide marketing efforts.
Query data and execute exploratory data analysis to understand the drivers of impact Manage requests and priorities independently.
Communicate with internal stakeholders about analysis, dashboards, models, and experiments to ensure understanding of results and impact and how they can be used is clear.
Provide documentation of queries/inbound requests for future use in improving BMG's data infrastructure.
Understand existing data policy restrictions and clearly communicate where analysis is possible.


SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS in Engineering, Statistics/Math, Business, or related field. 7+ years of experience in analytics or similar field. 4+ years' experience in SQL. experience problem solving and providing business insights and recommendations from data. Ability to communicate complex data issues to audiences of different levels of technical expertise. Demonstrated experience converting high level requirements into meaningful analysis, visualizations, and tools. Capable of learning and applying new tools, skills, and concepts. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment. High attention to detail.


Preferred Qualifications: MBA or graduate degree in a quantitative field 5+ years of statistical experience (creating attribution models, A/B tests or lift analysis)
