Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: - Engineering support could include design, CAD drafting; GIS processing, project documentation (i.e. report preparation, water quality calculations, drainage area delineations, hydrologic calculations, file organization, etc.); construction observation, attendance at client meetings and various project-related tasks. - Assist staff conducting research. - Conduct fieldwork on a variety of sites. - Prepare other project documentation as required. - Track the processing of incoming and outgoing project documents. - Assist Project Managers in the management and implementation of various environmental projects. - Performing other duties as requested. Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a college degree in environmental sciences or an engineering field. - Preferred candidate is familiar with AutoCAD and MS Office software. - Candidates must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal). - Strong detail orientation and ability to organize and prioritize a diverse array of assignments and duties. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. - Self-motivated and ability to work independently and with a team. - Enjoys both fieldwork and office work.
