What you will be doing: You'll be responsible for providing support and maintenance on center servers, routers, switches, and software in compliance with government and management directives.
Essential functions:
Install, modify and make minor repairs to computer hardware, software systems.
Perform user account management and training for center staff in compliance with Data Center policies and procedures. Provide technical assistance for system users regarding center accounts.
Act as administrator for CIS by providing setup, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Act as phone system administrator, set up and change phone features; troubleshoot telecommunication problems.
Monitors annual budgets for the management information systems department. Initiates and tracks invoice payments. Prepares ITARB packages for technology purchases.
Organize and administer information technology projects. Provide updates to the management information systems manager.
Maintain accountability of information technology property and provide tracking documentation to the management information systems manager.
Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to staff and students. Prepare related reports.
Setup and maintain all Gallagher physical security system configurations for the center and maintain keycards for staff. Provide support for the security department regarding student keycards.
It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Associates degree preferred in computer science or related field and three years' experience.
Directly related training or technical experience in network administration may be considered in lieu of education requirements.
Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills and computer proficiency required.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, unless waived by management.
