Now Hiring: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - Lane County, OR
Amergis is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide in-person speech and language services across multiple locations in Lane County, OR .
Position Details:
+ Location: Lane County, OR
+ Rate: $38/hr
+ Schedule: 37.5 hours/week
+ Duration: 36 weeks
+ Modality: In-person only
+ Setting: Multiple sites within the county
Role Overview:
The SLPA will assist a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in delivering speech and language services. Responsibilities include treatment sessions, documentation, and collaboration with educational staff-all within the scope of care assigned by the supervising SLP.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Associate's degree from an SLPA program or Bachelor's in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders
+ 100+ hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent clinical experience
+ Current SLPA certification/licensure in Oregon
+ Compliance with professional standards of practice
+ Preferred: 1+ year of SLPA experience
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
+ Current health certificate (per contract/state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
