Travel Welder/Fabricator Position **Located in Newport News, VA ($140 in Per Diem)** **Job Description** + Perform single/Multi pass tack welding using the Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) process. + Operate burning-oxygen/propane burning torches and heating-oxygen/propane heating torches. + Interpret complex structural assembly drawings, blueprints, and sketches, including weld symbols, material types, and datum and reference lines. + Comprehend fractional dimensions using a ruler. + Lay off piece parts for fabrication and assembly. **Position is located in Newport News, Virginia.** **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Katy, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
