Requirements

Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
Current and valid RN license in good standing in New York State.
Experience with geriatric patients preferred but not required.
Compassionate attitude toward elderly and chronically ill residents.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of nursing theory, infection prevention, and resident care standards.

What you’ll do

Deliver quality nursing care, administer medications, and document care accurately.
Report patient observations and changes to the Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, or Unit Manager.
Support residents’ daily needs and ensure timely response to concerns.
Coordinate CNA assignments, monitor care delivery, and ensure completion of ADL documentation.
Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and punctuality in all duties.
