Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Pet Sitter to provide exceptional care for pets in their owners' absence. Duties

• Feed, water, and administer medications to pets according to owner instructions
  
• Provide daily exercise and playtime tailored to each pet’s needs
  
• Monitor pets’ health and behavior, reporting any concerns to owners or veterinary professionals
  
• Maintain a clean environment by cleaning cages, litter boxes, and feeding areas
  
• Administer basic pet grooming tasks such as brushing or bathing as needed
  
• Restrain animals safely during examinations or grooming procedures using proper animal restraint techniques
  
• Handle animals with care, ensuring their safety during interactions and transportation
  
• Follow specific training protocols for dogs or other animals as required
  

Experience

• Prior experience in pet sitting or animal care is preferred
  
• Knowledge of dog training techniques and dog handling skills is advantageous
  
• Veterinary experience such as veterinary technician or assistant background is a plus
  
• Experience working with various animals including dogs, cats, and companion animals
  
• Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their concerns
  
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for transporting supplies or animals safely
