Job Description

This position performs imaging procedures using various methods and equipment. Provides patient care while procedures are in progress. Provides PACs support for imaging department.

This posting is for Full time, 1.0, Variable shift, 40 Hours per Week.

Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training and Graduate of an approved school of ultrasonography

  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

  • Within 30 days of hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

  • Within 1 year of hire National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Upon hire: Membership in a professional organization such as the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, Society of Vascular Technologists, American Society of Radiologic Technologists, or the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine

  • Two years clinical experience as an ultrasound tech. Two years work experience with PACS system preferred.
