We are seeking a Project Manager for a local government IT Department.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee IT projects from initiation to completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate project activities and ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Conduct data collection and analysis to support project decision-making.
• Utilize project management tools such as Trello, Project Server, Confluence, Smartsheet, etc.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Ensure adherence to project management best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in IT project management or related role.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Familiarity with project coordination and engineering principles.
