Finance Expert (AI Evaluation & Training)



Location: Remote (USA)

Engagement Type: Contract / Freelance

Commitment: Minimum 20 hrs/week , up to 40 hrs/week (Partial PST overlap required )

Role Overview:

We are seeking experienced Finance Experts to collaborate with AI researchers in improving the performance of large language models (LLMs) in finance-related domains.

This role is ideal for finance professionals who enjoy complex problem-solving , analytical thinking, and contributing domain expertise to next-generation AI systems.

No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate AI/LLM model performance across finance use cases where accuracy is currently limited
• Apply real-world finance expertise to train AI models on:
  • Financial modelling
  • Investment analysis
  • Corporate finance concepts
• Design evaluation rubrics and benchmarks for:
  • Deal analysis
  • M&A assessments
  • Financial forecasting
• Collaborate with AI researchers and fellow finance experts to refine:
  • Training methodologies
  • Evaluation strategies
  • Domain benchmarks

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in one or more of the following:
  • Investment Banking
  • Private Equity
  • Capital Markets
  • Portfolio Management
  • Equity / Credit Research
  • Trading / Quant
  • Venture Capital / Growth Equity
  • FP&A
  • Accounting
  • Financial Consulting
    
    
• Strong command of financial concepts including:
  • Investment analysis
  • Financial forecasting
  • Revenue modeling
  • Corporate finance
  • Asset & risk management
    
    
• Excellent English written communication skills

Nice-to-Have (Optional)

• CFA (Level I / II / III)
• CA / CPA
• MBA in Finance
