Insight Global is looking for an SAP EWM Functional Consultant for an automotive company headquartered in Dearborn, MI. We are seeking an expert level consultant who is comfortable and willing to mentor junior level consultants. This individual will join the team responsible for Warehouse Management System(WMS) projects. We are looking for someone with experience in design and implementing SAP EWM solutions. Assignments include analyzing business processes, configuring EWM modules, providing end-user support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse operations. Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain, and SAP EWM is essential. The individual in this role will travel onsite for implementations and to provide post-implementation support/training.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Design, build and configure SAP EWM to meet business processes and business requirements.

  • Gather, analyze and understand business requirements to successfully design and implement SAP EWM solutions.

  • Interact with customers to define business processes, write and validate functional specifications, and deliver complex solutions.

  • Configure and customize SAP EWM modules based on customer specifications, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP EWM with external systems, ensuring seamless data flow.

  • Provide expert guidance on EWM functionality, offering recommendations for process improvements and optimizations.

  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users, empowering them to effectively utilize SAP EWM features and functionalities.

  • Participate in the full project lifecycle, from fit-gap analysis to configuration, documentation, training, deployment, and hyper-care support.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP EWM issues, working closely with technical teams to address any production related challenges.

  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance.

  • Ensure timely, cost-effective and successful SAP EWM implementations.

Compensation:

$60-65HR

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

  • Experienced with end-to-end implementations of SAP EWM.

  • Experience configuring SAP EWM.

  • Experience with project tracking tools such as Jira or Rally.

  • Experience documenting warehouse/business processes and best practices.

  • Experience collaborating with developers and service teams to determine and implement the best solution.

  • Working knowledge with other SAP modules: SAP MM, PP or SD.

  • Experience delivering projects within agile framework.

  • Bachelors in technology, computer science, information systems or a related field.
