Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP) – HBRS Program

Location: Amherst, Huntington/Westfield and/or Springfield

Pay Rate: $25/hour (Potentially negotiable dependent on education/experience)

About the Role:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated  Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)to join our  HBRS Program and provide in-home and community-based support to individuals with medical complexities. This role is essential in helping individuals live fulfilling, independent lives while receiving the care and assistance they need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support tailored to individuals with medical complexities.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and mobility support.
• Implement care plans and follow medical protocols as directed.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for individuals.
• Support community involvement and engagement through outings and activities.
• Document and report on client progress, concerns, and any incidents.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other support staff.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required); relevant certifications or training preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with medical complexities, disabilities, or special needs is highly valued.
• Ability to assist with personal care tasks and follow medical care plans.
• Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. 
• Ability to pass a background check and meet all state and program-specific requirements.
