Requirements:

• Must have a valid Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in North Carolina.
• Previous experience in behavioral health or long-term care preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong observational, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a dynamic care setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with admissions, medication administration, and pharmacy stock monitoring under nurse supervision.
• Perform UDS, COVID, and pregnancy testing; sanitize equipment and dispose of medical waste.
• Interview patients, take vital signs, and complete health screenings and referral forms.
• Document patient observations, vitals, treatments, and test results in the EHR.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and confidential care environment.
• Prepare patients for in-person or telemed appointments with medical prescribers.
• Provide medication and home care education; answer patient questions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the center director or senior management.
