- Schedules: Full-time, Part-time, and PRN available
Job Summary: Aspen Meadows Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our care team. The CMA administers prescribed medications to residents and maintains accurate medical records under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The ideal candidate will be clinically sound, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional care.
Essential Functions: - Verify resident identity prior to medication administration and document all medications given, including dosage, route, and time
- Present medications to residents and ensure proper ingestion or application
- Take and record vital signs as directed
- Document reasons for omitted medications when applicable
- Receive and restock medication supplies per facility procedures
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and facility standards
Qualifications: - Required: Active CNA certification in the State of Montana for at least one year
- Required: Successful completion of 80 hours of State-approved Certified Medication Aide training
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to teamwork and quality resident care
