We're looking for hands-on, mechanically minded individuals to become Bus Tire Service Technicians - essential players in keeping our city's transit fleet running safely and efficiently. What You'll Do In this role, you'll get hands-on with some of the biggest tires in the business. Your work will directly support public safety and keep the transit buses ready. Pay Range: $14.90 - $29.80 **Responsibilities** + Mount, balance, rotate, and repair large transit bus tires. + Maintain tire equipment and tools - we count on you to keep things running smoothly. + Load and unload tires and related materials. + Keeping the work area clean and hazard-free - safety is always first. + Participate in team meetings and stay up to date on procedures. + Complete documentation and service logs accurately and on time. + Use personal protective equipment and follow all safety protocols. + Tackle other tasks as needed - there's always something to learn. **Why You'll Love This Role** + **Direct Impact** - your work helps keep buses safe and millions of riders moving. + **Growth built in** - earn TIA certifications (Levels 2 & 3) and gain experience to advance to higher technician levels. - elaborate on what TIA certifications are/is this accurate for all postings + **Team environment** - work with supportive colleagues who take pride in what they do. **What It Takes** We're looking for someone who's not afraid to get their hands dirty and thrives in a fast-paced, physically active environment. **Physical Demands:** + Frequent bending, lifting, and moving tires over 50 pounds (and pushing with over 100 lbs. of force). + Exposure to heat in summer, cold in winter, and common cleaning or lubrication chemicals. + Comfortable working with tools and machines in a shop environment. **Path to Progression** Full TIA Certification Pathway Provided: Gain recognized credentials paid for by us.
