Automotive Sales Manager
Pre-Owned Experience

Open Road is the Tri State's largest new and pre-owned vehicle retailer specializing in the nations top automotive brands for the New York-New Jersey Metropolitan Area. Our customers have come to expect a "Five-Star Customer Service Experience" for each and every new or pre-owned Open Road vehicle they are looking to lease, purchase, or service.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all sales people on team
  • Directs staffing of team, and training in ways that will enhance the development and control of sales programs
  • Establish and meet daily, weekly, monthly and yearly objectives
  • Monitors salesperson productivity and performance
  • Attends manager meetings as requested
  • Utilize tools to follow up with customers and ensure team does so also
  • Other duties may be assigned

Requirements:

  • Must have previous experience as a Sales Manager
  • Steady work and performance history
  • Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a successful sales team
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Must be a strong closer and possess the ability to ask for the sale and follow through

  • Sales Manager: 2 years (Required)
  • Automotive Sales: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Education:
    • High school or equivalent (Required)
