Great opportunity for an experienced automotive technician. Busy auto repair shop in North Olmsted looking for an Automotive technician to join our team. Previous repair shop experience and/or trade school is required. 

• No flat rate pay here - all techs are paid an hourly rate based on skill set with bonus based on labor hours. Top techs are paid top pay for the industry. Salary requirements are open for discussion. Lets talk and see what we can do.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and service, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This position requires expertise in automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, and familiarity with automotive standards. As an Automotive Technician/mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles.

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Experience:

• Perform comprehensive automotive repairs and maintenance services on various vehicle makes and models.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, including auto estimating for customer quotes.
• Collaborate with service advisors to communicate findings and recommendations to customers.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training.
• Must have and maintain common tools used for automotive repair

Experience:

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic or Service Technician in a dealership or independent shop setting is required.
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes.
• Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications are a plus.
